Where our facts come from

For the rules: the government and the law first, then the grid companies and official standards. For products: the manufacturer's own UK instructions. For prices: a real shop listing for the exact model, with the date we saw it. A product listing on its own never counts as proof that something is legal to plug in.

What we won't do

• We are not electricians, installers or lab testers — and we don't pretend to be.
• We don't turn a shop listing into proof of UK approval.
• We don't publish made-up figures, miracle payback claims or hype.
• We don't run affiliate links yet. If that ever changes, we'll say so clearly.
